Blake Lively is all set to attempt her arms behind the digicam for a movie. The Gossip Girl star is ready to make her function movie directorial debut with an adaptation of the graphic novel Seconds, by Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley.

According to Variety, created by Bryan Lee O’Malley and launched in 2014 by Random House imprint Ballantine Books, Seconds follows the story of Katie Clay, the proprietor and head chef of the titular restaurant. One evening, a mysterious spirit gives Katie with the flexibility to change actuality by writing one thing she needs to vary in a pocket book, consuming a mushroom and falling asleep. As Katie begins abusing the facility to change her previous errors, her actions slowly trigger the material of time and house to unravel.
Edgar Wright, who helmed the 2010 movie Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, based mostly on O’Malley’s graphic novels, tailored the screenplay and can produce the brand new movie alongside three-time Oscar nominee Marc Platt. The e book was the primary work from O’Malley since wrapping up his break-out Pilgrim graphic novel sequence.
