Pooja Meri Jaan Movie Story Review:
Kanishka and Navjot Gulati’s story could be very topical and novel. Kanishka and Navjot Gulati’s screenplay (extra screenplay by Niren Bhatt) is pretty paced and laced with some hard-hitting scenes. However, the writing has its share of blemishes. Niren Bhatt’s dialogues are sharp and even acidic in some locations.
Navjot Gulati’s course is taut. The movie has a runtime of simply 117 minutes and therefore, the main target stays firmly on the principal story. Aniket’s loss of life takes place inside the first quarter-hour and shortly after, Pooja finds herself behind bars. The fascinating facet of the movie is that Pooja is just not portrayed as an all-white character, which additional complicates her state of affairs in courtroom. Things take an sudden flip within the second half when viewers get the whole image of what transpired prior to now, making the proceedings much more participating. The climax monologue is highly effective and may turn out to be a speaking level on social media.
On the flipside, a number of developments occur reasonably conveniently. Sana’s determination to take up Pooja’s case initially appears tough to digest, contemplating that she, too, believed Pooja had abetted Aniket’s suicide. The climax leaves an affect however can also be unconvincing in components. The cross-examination of Mayank Joshi (Nikhil Angrish) is one such occasion. Moreover, the members of the Junoon theatre group have been vehemently towards Pooja, and but a few of them later seem as witnesses. A vital confession by somebody near Aniket, too, comes about reasonably shortly. Audiences have seen movies like SHAURYA [2008] and A FEW GOOD MEN [1992], the place attorneys go all out to impress a witness earlier than extracting a surprising confession. Here, the revelation comes about too simply and too shortly.

Pooja Meri Jaan Movie Review Performances:
Mrunal Thakur performs the lead function with sincerity. She will get into the pores and skin of her character and particularly delivers within the emotionally charged scenes. Huma Qureshi’s characterization may have been higher. Nevertheless, her efficiency is first-rate. Vikram Singh Chauhan leaves an enormous mark in a difficult function. Vijay Raaz, as traditional, is reliable. However, his character is alleged to be ruthless, and that facet doesn’t come via persistently within the movie. Manuj Sharma, the late Rituraj Singh (Asad Mehfooz), Saarthak Gambhir (Shreyansh; Pooja’s teenage neighbour), Priyanshu Jora (Vikram Malhotra), Rajesh Jais, Madhu Sachdeva and Suparna Marwah do nicely. Sunita Rajwar (Sushila Chauhan; cop) and Shilpi Marwaha (Chandni Singhania; prisoner) depart a mark regardless of restricted display screen time.
Pooja Meri Jaan film music and different technical elements:
Vishal Mishra’s music is forgettable. ‘Saza’, ‘Qayamatein’ and ‘Maharani’ fail to register. John Stewart Eduri’s background rating is minimal but efficient. Jishnu Bhattacharjee’s cinematography is passable. Mayur Sharma’s manufacturing design is suitable, whereas Sheetal Sharma’s costumes are genuine. The outfits worn by Mrunal Thakur are glamorous. Sanyukta Kaza’s enhancing is tight.
Pooja Meri Jaan Movie Review Conclusion:
On the entire, POOJA MERI JAAN works as a related and thought-provoking courtroom drama, with Mrunal Thakur delivering a honest and efficient efficiency. Though the courtroom parts are usually not all the time convincing, the eye-opening topic stays with you and has the potential to turn out to be a significant speaking level within the days to come back.
