He continued, “There was one time he got under my skin. He was like, ‘Hey, big boy.’ It wasn’t ‘fatso.’ I feel like a few people in life have been like, ‘Hey, big boy,’ and I was like, ‘Goddamn it. What the fuck.'”

Later, Jesse did let Benedict know the remark “pissed [him] off,” and he apologized.

“He was like, ‘I’m so sorry.’ I was like, ‘No, don’t worry. It was great,'” Jesse defined.

Thankfully, Benedict stored to himself more often than not to keep away from additional insults, and Jesse says the tactic performing “was really helpful” for the movie.
