On the brand new episode of his Armchair Expert podcast, Kristen and Dax describe how their impromptu proposal went down on the Christmas Eve of 2009.

Dax: What occurred for me was we had had this lovely Christmas Eve with my household and um we have been in mattress that evening and also you have been type of expressing gratitude for this little household we have been making and I used to be like, ‘Oh, this is the moment I’m going to attempt to recreate in a month at Stanley’s over a salad, but it surely’s taking place.’ I used to be like, ‘F**k it. I’m simply going to go get the ring now.’ And then I went into the closet. I had it in a jacket pocket.
Kristen: He was rustling within the closet sand someway I sensed it instantly.
