David Cronenberg (Scanners, Videodrome, The Dead Zone, The Fly, A History of Violence) is again!

Last month introduced a first look on the filmmaker’s new sci-fi/horror mission titled Crimes of the Future, which teased some extremely intriguing physique horror. At the time of the teaser’s launch, Crimes of the Future was promised to launch completely in theaters in June. 

Officially confirmed this week, NEON has set the Crimes of the Future launch date for NY and LA theaters on June 3 earlier than increasing broad on June 10.

In the movie, “As the human species adapts to an artificial surroundings, the physique undergoes new transformations and mutations. With his associate, Caprice (Léa Seydoux), Saul Tenser (Viggo Mortensen), a star efficiency artist, publicly showcases the metamorphosis of his organs in avant-garde performances.

The movie’s solid additionally contains Scott Speedman, Welket Bungué, Don McKellar, Lihi Kornowski, Tanaya Beatty, Nadia Litz, Yorgos Karamichos, and Yorgos Pirpassopoulos.

This is the primary authentic sci-fi script by Cronenberg since 1999’s eXistenZ. Crimes of the Future reunites Cronenberg with Mortensen, star of extra grounded crime thrillers A History of Violence and Eastern Promises.
