Alison Brie and Dave Franco star in director Michael Shanks’ physique horror film Together a couple of stagnating couple coping with co-dependency problems with the Lovecraftian variety, and we’ve acquired an unique sneak peek forward of the movie’s Summer 2025 launch in theaters.
Currently 100% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with 48 opinions logged right now, Together might be launched in theaters nationwide from distributor NEON (Longlegs) on July 30, 2025.
In Together, “Years into their relationship, Tim and Millie discover themselves at a crossroads as they transfer to the nation, abandoning all that’s acquainted of their lives besides one another.
“With tensions already flaring, a nightmarish encounter with a mysterious, unnatural foe threatens to corrupt their lives, their love, and their flesh.”
Writer-director Michael Shanks makes his characteristic debut on the film, which options Damon Herriman, Sunny S. Walia, Jack Kenny, and Mia Morrissey alongside Franco and Brie.
Meagan Navarro wrote in her evaluate out of Sundance, “Its unique blend of awkward romantic dramedy and cosmic body horror yields no shortage of crowd-pleasing moments and horror freakouts that left the rowdy Sundance audience laughing and screaming in equal measure.”
Meagan’s evaluate continues, “Framing a romantic dramedy, complete with cringe humor and a Spice Girls needle drop, through a Lovecraftian body horror lens yields more than enough fun to forgive its underserved elements. It’s the type of zany crowd-pleaser that delivers on its premise with an unhinged sense of humor and heart.”
