Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry made their relationship Instagram official over the weekend after the pop star shared a collection of pictures and movies from the pair’s latest journey to Japan.
Perry’s publish confirmed her romance with the previous Canadian prime minister, a month after they had been photographed strolling out of a Paris cabaret hand in hand.
The pair — who had been first noticed consuming collectively at upscale Montreal restaurant Le Violon within the metropolis’s Le Plateau neighbourhood in July — posed for a selfie, ate sushi and gazed at a museum exhibit in a choice of snaps shared with Perry’s 202 million Instagram followers.
A black-and-white video exhibits Perry making an attempt uni for the primary time as Trudeau, sitting by her aspect, encourages her to take a chunk.
The Firework singer captioned the publish “tokyo times on tour and more.” It got here after Trudeau reshared a photograph of the couple posing with former Japanese prime minister Fumio Kishida and his spouse, Yuko.
“Great to see you @kishida230. Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko. Thank you, Fumio, for your friendship and your continued commitment to both the international rules-based order and to a better future for everyone,” Trudeau wrote.
Perry and Justin had been in Japan throughout the Asian leg of her Lifetimes Tour, following its lengthy summer season stint, which took her to seven Canadian cities in late July and early August, together with Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto.

Neither Perry nor Trudeau has commented publicly on their relationship. Still, the Instagram publish follows months of hypothesis in regards to the singer and the previous Liberal Party chief.
Days after they had been noticed consuming in Montreal, Trudeau attended her live performance. A video of the present exhibits the previous Prime Minister singing alongside as Perry performs her music Dark Horse.
Perry and Trudeau had been first seen in public nearly two years after Trudeau and his ex-wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, break up, and a few month after Perry introduced that she and actor Orlando Bloom had known as off their engagement after nearly a decade collectively.
Trudeau and his ex-wife have three youngsters: Xavier, 18, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrien, 11.
Perry and Bloom share a five-year-old daughter, Daisy.
