Jeremy Saulnier (Green Room, Rebel Ridge) is again within the A24 enterprise with the upcoming October, and Deadline studies right this moment that Chase Sui Wonders (I Know What You Did Last Summer) and Sophie Wilde (Talk to Me) have signed on to star within the film.
Cory Michael Smith, who performed “SNL” alum Chevy Chase in Jason Reitman’s based-on-true-events film Saturday Night, can even star within the Halloween-set “horror action thriller.”
Deadline particulars, “No word on the role Smith will be playing in October. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but sources described the project as a fugitive thriller set during Halloween. Saulnier will direct from his own script, with A24 producing and financing.”
Producers for the movie embody Rich Peete, Eli Bush, and Jeremy Saulnier & Skei Saulnier, with Ronald Bronstein and Josh Safdie, Traci Carlson and Elliott Coley and Macon Blair.
Macon Blair, who beforehand starred in Saulnier’s movies Murder Party, Blue Ruin and Green Room, directed upcoming reboot The Toxic Avenger, solely in theaters on August 29, 2025.
